The Masked Era
A Marauder’s Time RPG
The leaves are changing as a new year has come to begin. The year is 1978 and the Marauder’s are going into their seventh and final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Things are not as they once were. Just as the leaves turn from the greens to the reds and the oranges so do the ways of the wizarding world. A new era is about to begin. The self proclaimed Dark Lord Voldemort is on the move. He is gaining followers faster than ever. No longer do people have the luxury of trust, for who knows who you can trust when all secretly wear masks.
Albus Dumbledore, the one whom the Dark Lord has rumoured to fear has his own group rising. It could be the only resistance to stand in the way of Voldemort’s rise to power. The Order of the Pheonix, a group of prestigious witches and wizards, standing to face these masked villains, but who are they, themselves? For not only the villains have masks. It is the era of fear, fight, and the masked person. Where do you stand? What mask will you find you will dawn in your hour?
Trouble outside of Hogwarts isn’t the only thing troubling the witches and wizards of Britain. Love seems to be bubbling up every which way someone turns. Lily Evans has finally come to the conclusion that she may have feelings for James Potter, but will she listen to her heart or her head in the matter? Andromeda Black has been disowned from her family for the love of her life, Ted Tonks, but will they live in perfect bliss? Or will someone see otherwise? What about Severus Snape? Will he ever tell Lily? Or will it be too late? Peter Pettigrew is starting to make friends with the wrong sort; will he let them persuade him? Does Sirius and James’ friendship seem to go south with the addition of a certain red haired girl?
Not all is fair in love and war...or so the characters of the masked era will soon find out.
