history ::
- Her mother, Mar-oo, married a British man, Charles, so that she can become pregnant. She drinks her own formulas throughout her pregnancies to corrupt the child she is bearing to be whatever she wishes it to be.
- Ever is born the first child to Mar-oo. Her ability was a test for Mar-oo to determine if her formulas for better humans would work and had no desired outcome only for it to be successful.
- Pleasantly surprised at Ever's power.
- Ever is taught everything that Mar-oo wants for her and the children she is planning on having. Ever does not like it at all, and is convinced it's wrong.
- Angel is born and Ever beings to realize that escape is necessary.
- Ever and Angel's third sister, Clarissa, is born shortly after they begin to contemplate escape.
- They seek the help of their father, who promptly dismisses the thought of escape and informs their mother of their plans.
- Locked in cages, separate from each other and everything, they being to lose hope for any escape.
- A four child is born, Nightshade, but their mother deems her a mistake and tosses her aside for further experimenting.
- As her sisters stay locked in cages, watching their mother, they slowly piece together what her experiments are for and how they play a part in them, something Ever knew and kept from them.
- Mar-oo wishes to build herself an indestructible army of her own children. She wants to own the world with her own spawn at her side.
- Finally, a boy is born to Mar-oo and she dotes on him and teaches him everything she neglected to teach her daughters.
- Lucian is just like his mother and he fears nothing.
- The sisters desperately need to escape and finally, their time comes.
- The four of them break free from The Lab but their brother, Lucian, meets them and kills Nightshade, the youngest and weakest of them, telling them she means nothing.
- Mar-oo steps in to instruct Lucian but he kills her right then as well. He tells his three remaining sisters to run and run fast. He will follow them, hunt them, and kill them
- The sisters obey and flee Italy together.
- Over the centuries they manage to always stay out of Lucian's way but he grows weary of the game and wishes them dead.
- Ever hears of Shadowland and takes her sisters there, hoping for safety but not counting on it.
