"Come on, Vladdy, we haven’t got all night! The heads of the Vampire Clans are gathering downstairs! The ceremony is about to begin!"
"Tonight, we unveil a new leader from our majestic throng of night-feeders!"
The ceremony for choosing the new Grand High Vampire could have gone better.
After the prophecy was set into motion, with several the next two vampires in line to take the place of Grand High Vampire turned to dust after being crowned, the next in line turned to Count Dracula, who prolonged the crowning in order to find a way to get the title without risking death.
"You’re not the Chosen One. I am."
Vlad tried to tell his father that he was the Chosen One, but this was laughed off.
"So…because we wear capes, we’re vampires? Because we have a penchant for black, we’re vampires. Just because we have fangs…and drink blood, we ARE vampires."
Robin Branaugh’s family arrived at the castle, in order to bring Robin home and so that Elizabeth Branaugh could prove to Graham Branaugh that The Count and his family were not vampires. However, instead she got a nasty surprise when Count Dracula and the other vampires revealed their true nature.
And then, all hell broke loose.
"Nice shooting, Slayer!"
"Let’s finish this!"
Eric and Jonno Van Helsing, along with fellow Slayer Kurt Moller attempted a siege of the castle. During this, many vampires were slain, including Ingrid’s love, Will.
"You will know you are the Chosen One when you sacrifice the life you love to save the family you love."
Vlad was forced to don the Crown of Power and take his place as the Chosen One and Grand High Vampire in order to save his family.
"That’s my Vladdy!..."
Vlad rose into the air, with lightning electricity emanating from the crown.
"Vampires…be GONE!"
Vlad sent the surviving vampires back to their homelands, allowing them to spread the word that the Chosen One had arisen. However, this is mostly dismissed as a rumour started by Count Dracula, who has been known for trying to enter the spotlight in the past (the incident in the late 1800s having gone to his head).
"Mortals…approach me…Why must we destroy each other? Can we not live together, in harmony? You will leave this place and remember nothing of vampires."
Vlad also sent the humans in the castle away, blocking their memories of vampires. But, nothing lasts forever…
Afterwards, Vlad collapsed in an unconscious heap on the floor.
"Is he dead?"
"I don’t know…and I don’t care."
"He’s your BROTHER! You must help him!"
"I’ll decide what I MUST do. Because I’M in charge now."
"NYAH! TRAITOR! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS BETRAYAL INGRID!"
"SILENCE! From now on, you will call me Countess Dracula. Watch me as I avenge Will’s death and make the streets of Stokley run red with blood…"
Ingrid Dracula, taking advantage of her father’s imprisonment, snatched the Dracula legacy for herself, vowing to make Stokley pay for Will’s death.
However, she was unaware that Vlad’s eyes were beginning to flicker open…
